Short version
ShotNotes stores your round data, shot logs, and course notes locally on your iPhone. No account is required. No data leaves your device unless you explicitly export it. Pro subscriptions are handled entirely by Apple’s App Store — no payment information passes through the app.
What stays on your device
All rounds, individual shot logs, course notes, and settings you enter are stored locally in the ShotNotes app sandbox using Apple’s SwiftData framework. This data is not uploaded to a server, is not shared with Cywinski Digital, and is not sold or provided to any third party.
Account and authentication
ShotNotes does not require an account, email address, or login to use any feature of the app, including the free tier. No user credentials are collected or stored by the app or by Cywinski Digital.
Subscriptions and payments
ShotNotes Pro is available as a monthly or annual subscription managed entirely through Apple’s App Store using StoreKit 2. All billing, receipts, and subscription management are handled by Apple. Cywinski Digital does not receive, process, or store your payment information. To manage or cancel your subscription, go to Settings › Apple ID › Subscriptions on your iPhone.
Local notifications
ShotNotes may request permission to send local notifications as round-logging reminders. These notifications are generated entirely on-device by iOS. The app does not use a remote push notification service.

Future changes
If ShotNotes adds optional accounts, iCloud sync, advertising, third-party analytics, or other data-handling tools in a future version, this page and the App Store privacy answers will be updated before that version is submitted for review.
